UPS network management

<A HREF="http://www.tripplite.com/software/">Tripp Lite's</A> PowerAlert Software, a UPS network management application with wireless capability, has passed the compatibility and utility testing processes offered by Palm, Inc. PowerAlert Software allows users to monitor and manage UPS systems from any manufacturer, directly or over a network. It is commonly used by IT managers to control a multitude of UPS systems from a central location. During extended power outages, PowerAlert can monitor UPS systems' battery charge and instruct computers to save their open files and shut themselves down gracefully if battery reserves are low. PowerAlert can also alert technicians to power problems via pager or email.
