ZDNet has an article on a new type of display being developed by Sony that will provide brighter images at a lower cost than current technologies. According to the article, Sony announced a prototype active-matrix display that takes advantage of organic electroluminescence (OEL) display technology which will lend itself well to handhelds and mobile phones.
