Layoff clarification

Yesterday we ran a piece about 3Com planning layoffs. For those of you who may have forgotten, Palm, Inc. is no longer part of 3Com, though 3Com does own a measurable percentage of Palm. In other words, please don’t confuse layoffs at 3Com with any problems at Palm. All indications are that Palm is quite successful at this time.
