Modo PDA for the jet set

According to the article, the company hopes users will think of the Modo handheld as the leisure equivalent of Palm devices. The article cites Geoff Pitfield, Scout's chief executive, as saying the company hasn't set out to create the next Palm device, but a wireless publishing platform that it can eventually license to other hardware manufacturers, possibly even Palm, Inc.
