Microsoft and Palm hear Psion-ara from Sony

The Sony Corporation has chosen <A HREF="http://www.zdnet.com/zdnn/stories/news/0,4586,2555650,00.html?chkpt=zdhpnew">Psion's Symbian</A> operating platform for its line of mobile computing devices. Shares for the UK handheld computer manufacturer rose almost ten percent when news came out that Sony had picked Psion over the likes of Microsoft's Windows CE and the Palm OS.
