In-car computing always just around the corner

The Register, out of the United Kingdom, has an article on the rise of the <A HREF="http://www.theregister.co.uk/index.html">in-car PC</A>. It says this is another potentially large market for Windows CE as a study has claimed that revenues from in-car computing will rise from the current $40 million to more than $1.7 billion in 2004. However, the article states that at the moment few car manufacturers seem willing to take the leap into the kind of computer systems that would offer Internet access and email capabilities.
