DiskOnChip in set-top box

M-Systems announced that Samsung Electro-Mechanics (SEMCO) has selected M-Systems’ DiskOnChip as the local storage device for its new cable set-top box, the HNT20. DiskOnChip and the Windows CE-based Microsoft TV platform operating system allow the HNT20 to save data files, favorites, cookies and other items from the comfort of a customer’s living room.
