Palm, Inc.

3Com Corporation announced that a registration statement has been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for the initial public offering of the common stock of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Palm Computing, Inc. In connection with the IPO, Palm Computing, Inc. intends to change its name to Palm, Inc.
