Web appliance

Mainbrace Corporation will be showing off its cordless Windows CE-based Web appliance at COMDEX. The new web appliance provides access to consumer Web-based services like Web shopping, email and online trading. Mainbrace’s Web appliance uses a wireless Ethernet connection to communicate with a cordless modem base station, which connects directly to an Internet service provider (ISP) or to an ISP through a personal computer.
