Yesterday, Contributing Editor Frank McPherson reported from Spring Comdex ’99 that Microsoft demonstrated the use of a Vadem Clio, Terminal Server Client and wireless networking to administer a Windows 2000 server. Frank is reporting today that Adam Anger, Microsoft Product Manager of Microsoft’s Information Appliance Division demonstrated a beta copy of the Terminal Server client. The software will run on Windows CE Handheld Professional edition devices and can be used to access either Windows NT Terminal Edition servers or Windows 2000 servers. According to Adam, beta copies of the software will be distributed on the Windows 2000 Beta 3 CD-ROMS.
