MSAudio vs. MP3

Last week at the House of Blues in Los Angeles, Microsoft showed off a Windows CE device, to be manufactured by Casio and to ship next month, that can function as a portable player for MSAudio. According to Internet World, Microsoft is offering a MSAudio compression format as a replacement for MP3. Microsoft says MSAudio can deliver high-quality audio in a file half the size of a similar-quality MP3 clip.
