Telconstar, Microsoft deal

Telcontar announced a relationship with Microsoft, which Telcontar will support a public API for use with <A HREF="http://www.theautochannel.com/news/press/date/19990419/press021990.html">AutoPC</A>, making the power, generality, and speed of its just-launched Rich Map Engine available on AutoPC platforms. Telcontar's Rich Map Engine provides virtual navigation, map customization, rapid retrieval of map information based on real-time GPS position, and route finding in vehicle and pedestrian modes.
