Quartus announced today the release of Quartus Forth version 1.0.6, its new on-board Forth compiler that lets developers write fast, efficient stand-alone applications for the Palm Computing Platform directly on the handheld device itself. Quartus Forth is an ISO/ANSI-compliant Forth language compiler and development environment suitable both for beginners and seasoned developers.
