Intel resumes shipping of faulty Sandy Bridge chipsets

The Intel 6-series chipset is flawed. Intel is working on a fix for the SATA port problem, but the newer chips aren’t ready yet. Intel has decided to continue shipping the flawed chips to manufacturers building systems that will not be affected by the flaw.
