Electric Pocket’s txtForward on BlackBerry

Electric Pocket’s txtForward now enables BlackBerry users to automatically send outbound SMS messages to an email address. This new feature enables users to archive outgoing SMS messages as well as their incoming messages as previously available.

txtForward was announced in July to give BlackBerry users the ability to automatically forward their text messages to any email address they specify. The software is useful when changing to a new phone, enabling the user to avoid missing messages during the transition. It is also beneficial for those who prefer to focus on email as a messaging channel, or those who simply want the security of having text messages backed up with email–either on their computer or an online email account such as Gmail.
