Sybase and IBM, have integrated AppForge technology into their mobile database products. Both companies have utilized AppForge’s Piedmont Framework to enable this technology integration. IBM’s product, DB2 Everyplace, integrates with AppForge MobileVB to let Microsoft Visual Basic developers create sophisticated mobile device applications that use the DB2 Everyplace relational database and synchronization technology. This technology supports devices based on Palm OS, Symbian OS (Nokia 9200 Communicator series), or Pocket PC based devices.
