CNET News.com reports Handspring plans to announce several steps aimed at boosting sales to businesses, including an alliance with an outside sales force. According to the article, the company has signed a deal with MarketLink, which will serve as an outsourced sales force with about 40 people pitching Handspring devices to companies. Handspring also will work with CDW-G, the government sales arm of CDW Computer Centers, to seek public-sector customers.
