Fictionwise has a special eBook entitled “Braving the Flames” by Peter A. Micheels. The book is the true story of New York City firefighters. The author has told Fictionwise that,not only did some men mentioned in the book perish at the World Trade Center, but some of the sons of those men are missing as well.

In honor of these brave people who have sacrificed so much, Fictionwise, e-reads (the publisher of this eBook), and the author will donate all proceeds of the sales of “Braving the Flames” through October 11 to the Widows and Children’s Fund of the Uniformed Firefighters Association. The total donation will be announced on October 12.
