Warm weather hasn’t come to Washington just yet, but spring fever hit the Hill yesterday just the same.

When approached online by his press secretary’s boyfriend, Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., agreed to sacrifice his official Twitter account to young love Thursday evening.

Social media experts say one of the main goals of using tools like Twitter is engagement but perhaps not the way Brett Wanamaker interpreted it.
