palmOne unveiled a new Web site dedicated to <A HREF="http://ir.palmone.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=105423&p=irol-newsArticle&ID=724478&highlight">helping educators build a case</A> for the adoption of handheld computers when applying for funding through the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEA). The Web site gives educators a starting point with a guide to local sources for grants to fund technology purchases. Organized by state, sources include Community Foundations, local libraries that host Foundation Center Collections, and Regional Associations of Grantmakers. In addition, the Web site gives educators specific information on connecting handheld computers and solutions to the entitlements of NCLB and the specific curriculum and administrative goals of educators.
